Depending on the day, ores in the first sand room make it impossible to reach the torch. Wall decorations layered over some objects like the Pacha Statue in the last house upgrade. You need to choose it before you start/load a game, the setting is found in the Main Menu under Settings/Gameplay. Added an experimental setting to set the duration of a day to one of 3 options: 15 minutes (recommended), 17.5 minutes (long), and 20 mins (longest).
